I have had the ECU checked for faults on my newly acquired 4ltr RR, there were 3 faults shown all relating to the Air temperature sensor, can anyone tell me were this is, so I can remove and replace it.

Was it the air intake temp sensor which is in the air intake pipe attached to the air filter? or the outside air temp sensor? which i think is behind the front bumper.

Cheers, Nick.

Thanks It was the air intake sensor, I will have a look at the connections by the air filter.

This morning I checked the sensor out and found the connection was loose the air filter was new so it must have been disturbed when the filter was replaced.
This might sound daft but when I was driving home tonight the car felt more responsive and I was thinking what's happened why is it screaming along then I remembered about the now working sensor, so either I had heavier boots on or the ECU was reigning back performance but there was no lights on the dash to say that, or with the ECU thinking the air temp was -40 it was over fueling the car.
