Was investigating a long standing tick noise on my 300TDI engine yesterday.

It turns out I've got a leak round one injector thats prooving a bugger to remove. Need to get it out to fit new copper sealing washer

Anyone got any tips?? or an injector puller I can borrow.

Also need a valve/colett cap, as one has mysteriously worn through, giving a massive valve clearance.

Trouble is no Landy suppliers today/tommorow, but want to get sorted before Driffield next week.

you can leave cap off and set tappet without have you tied rotating injector with a spanner on the flats

I've done the tappet adjustment temporarily as you've suggested.

Tried turning the injector on the flats, but not managed to shift it.
Did manage to break an 12mm spanner on the thing though.

Still struggling to find an injecto puller/slide hammer though and it's well stuck.

Anyone got one I can borrow, or own a garage with one that I can come to to do it.
