Always fancied a Freelander 2 so last summer I bought a 2007 SE model with genuine 57,000 miles been great till now , Living in Wales the most important thing on a vehicle is wipers . Mine the other day stopped on outside lane of motorway mid screen. Had to quickly get to hard shoulder I tried to move them but nothing I switched off the ignition then re started the beasty and the wipers started again.....can anybody suggest a solution to my problem as I'm a bit worried about taking it out in the rain

Get out of Wales, I always get soaked whenever I go there..
Just kidding Kev, there's loads of good advice here.. I had a similar problem, turned out ot be wiper parking switch
however was on a Defender, quite a different animal.
