1985 LAND ROVER DEFENDER on eBay (end time 07-Jan-10 16:04:27 GMT)

I know it's brown, but I quite like the look of the above.

Price about right?

Also, what sort of mpg can I expect?
Currently running a vauxhall omega, so more interested than really bothered!

It looks an original and standard vehicle BUT its too pricey for a petrol. They are almost as thirsty as a V8 with none of the charm or power.

Way too expensive for a two an a quarter petrol jobbie. It'll be horribly uneconomical and pathetically slow.

Nothing wrong with the colour!! Busy sticking a 200tdi in my 110, and if that is the going rate for the petrol version...make me an offer!!!

maybe it's expensive because it's in the New Forest!

would prefer an early tdi, but can't seem to find one for decent money, in the area

just find a nice big mud hole and you can make any landy you like brown!
