To my supprise look what i found, i dont think the carpet has ever been up it still has the bits held in by the door seals.

Easy

This might be a daft newbyish question but how do I remove the rear carpet? Do I need to remove all the interior side panel trim to get at it or is there an easier way?

Same on the D1 I found that after I removed the door edge trim so I did't bother and screwed the trim back in place.

Yup Headtester that's the start, you will have to pull the carpet from under the side panels but as my carpet has never been touched I felt that getting it back would be a problem and it would not lay as flat as it does now so I put the edge trim back. I didn't need to see the floor anyway.
