Nothing wrong with them! 5 year warranty too. Check the web for lower
prices. I very nearly got one after a lot of research, but ended up
with a better deal on a Nissan. Will easily cope with your caravan.

And you'll wind up all the LibDems in your street!!

Paul,

Horses for courses I know but I bought a 6 months old one and am extremely
impressed after 4 months. I had a Freelander before and had no end of issues
but the 5 years warranty and 3 years RAC means they have put their money
where their mouth is.

Santa Fe's are also big in the States and there are only a couple of
comments relating to the "lemon law" but a big fan club and following over
there.
Only thing to watch out for is service costs - I shopped around and
travelled further afield to save £100 on the 20k service from what the
selling dealer wanted. Barter and they usually change the cost.

Otherwise I'm impressed with my 2.0l CRTD diesel - comfortable on a long
run, torque good and mpg never seems to drop below 38 - not too bad for a
big model.

Anyone got an automatic diesel? Any good for caravan towing?

I also have a 2.0 CRTD manual which was a replacement for a Freelander. We
used it to take our caravan through France this year. No problems.
Spacious and comfortable for the whole family.

Lots of people rave about the Kia Sorento, saying that its a very good car.
Ok, maybe bigger than the santa fe but looks (to me) a whole lot better).
Ive just had an X-trail, after looking at the Hyundai Tuscon, but if I had
wanted something bigger then The Kia would of been looked at in detail
especially as there the same sort of price as the X-trail. Unfortunatly the
2.5 engine and bigger body would make the running costs too much for me so
opted for the X-trail.
