Another newbie here, although have had various Series Ones for many a moon.
I am now also the proud?? owner of a 2001 3 door Freelander with the renowned 1.8 petrol engine. So far, no probs, but I suppose its early days yet. From reading various threads it seems that later 2001 onwards (like mine) models dont suffer ther dreaded BHG quite as much, or am I just fooling myself?
Anyway, there looks to be lots of useful info here, so I will do a bit more reading......
