Anyone know how to wire up a new head unit in a 1997 defender. The wiring colours are different on the head unit to the defenders.

All you need is a test meter (or lightbulb and wire) to identify an ignition switched 12v supply, a permanent 12v supply (looks after the presets etc) and a good earth point

I joined mine to the existing wires using the small screw connectors from DIY stores, or you can solder and use heat shrink to protect
