bought a 94 v8i es auto discovery 5 days ago (lpg conversion). I suspect the seller was a rogue and a villain! anyway, i'm pretty stuck with it now i suppose...
problem is, that after checking everything over, including tyre pressure, i took it out for my first 'proper' drive into derbyshire yesterday. i filled the gas tank with 43 litres and zero'd the clock ... empty after 85 miles! calculated this to be 9 miles per gallon ... is this normal? how can i improve it?
i also noticed that the automatic gearbox seemed to be really over-revving, not when idling but was getting up to 3500 - 4000 revs before changing. ran great on motorway with speed up, but HATES 30 mph driving. is this a major problem or easy to rectify?
