Thats a nice job, is that DIY? if it is are there plans about for it do you know?

nice neat job that but you may well need to relocate the plug for the lead only an observation

Thinking about it, I would have a bash at making one maybe two of them, sell one on and pay for mine so I get it free then

thats the same kit but the one i saw it on, was a white rangie
must be an off the shelf item somwere

No, I made that one myself from scrap iron. The winch is a cheap and nasty item from China. It has a 4000lb capacity when used with a single pulley which is only just barely adequate. If you plan any serious off roading 8,000lb is the minimum required for a rangie. Having said that, its done all I've asked off it so far but ireckon there is room for a genuine 4,000lb winch with my set up, the biggest issue is the fairlead roller set up. This needs to be low on the winch to keep things simple. The best set up I've seen since is a dismountable one. I'm away from my computer for a few days but will post a link when I get back
