Hi
I am new to the forum so I thought I would introduce myself.
I have just bought my wife a 2002 1.8 GS Freelander. It has had a new engine fitted by LR 4,000 miles ago so I hope to get another 50K miles out of it ( fingers crossed ). I know the history of the car as I bought it from my sister who has had it for about 3 years. I fancy one for myself but as I do about 30k miles per year I am weary of buying one and having problems with the heads going all the time. Do the diesel versions suffer the same as the petrol or are they a safer bet? or should I look at the V6 version.
I look forward to reading your replies.
