fook it I never thought i'd say this but buy her a mitsa****y pinin or 1 of those crappy honda crv things before you pay for a gaylander. They really are that bad. if you ignore this advice then put £2000 in a saving account that she can't get access to. Because you're going to need at least that much to pay for repairing the thing.

ok, I had a Shogun for a couple of years - never missed a beat, towed trailers way overloaded for hundreds of miles, no prob. unfortunately I sold it. nuf said

It's taken me weeks to get her away from CRV's. And the wee ****gun is a total non-starter as I hate em. The Freelander was the compromise. Tomorrows wee jaunt will be a waste of time, but at least I'll have went through the motions.
Anyhow, time for bed. Nice chatting and thanks for the advice. If I get a half-decent Landy I'll pop back in.
