Just bought a hi lift jack, could someone explain to me what the point of the part pictured below is?

Spreading the missus butt cheeks. or owt else that needs spreading. Also for attaching a chain or strop to when using Hilift as a winch..

You can use a hi-lift as a clamp, also as a winch, which is what that bit on the end is for.

To use it as a spreader. ya move the lifting foot up a couple of holes. Attach yello thingy to bottom of ladder bar. and place hilft between the two things ya want spreading. and crank away. Great for popping gates that some Nimby has Locked up when they shouldn't have..
