Just thought I should say hello to all and big thanks for all the advice and info I have managed to get from reading this forum. The rebuild of my defender 90 would have been almost impossible to understand as a first time Landy owner without this brilliant resource. 😀 Thanks Guys and Gals.

why did you need a rebuild?

Not many, the thing has only done 57K with all old MOT's (unsure if speedo has been disconnected between) but having contacted a couple of the previous owners it seemed fairly legit. Think it had been used for dipping a speedboat in the sea because the chassis was just shot. I did follow all the buying advice, outriggers were ok and the rear cross member looked a bit corroded but generally OK. Just learned the hard way as a first time buyer I guess.:rolleyes:
 
Hi Jay,

I have uploaded some of the pics yesterday to an album. Not only am I a newbie to Landy ownership but also to forum posting :eek:. Started reading a thread about scammer's using forums like this to scout out vehicles, panicked and locked the album down.:eek:
