Hi everyone, I'm new to this site as I need some help on a steering noise on my Freelander 1 - can anyone assist me (I'm a computer man but am new to forums!!).

it certainly is a 1.8 petrol - lovely motor but another problem in a long line of problems (not going to get rid of it though - love it too much!) it only started after sticking my old washing machine in the back. Is it expensive and/or difficult to replace?

Wow..i am a genius.

Replacing the nut behind the wheel is really easy. Do you have a pen and paper?

Probably been best putting the washing machine right up front and throwing the other lump of **** out.

thanks storm, ready when you are!

Ok..ignore the abusive remarks from others, theres a few bad apples here i'm afraid.

Right, to change the nut behind the wheel...

Step 1. Get out of the vehicle.

Reply when you have done this.
