Ok so heres a wierd one!

After returning from work on friday, I got out of the car and noticed the interior light was glowing dimly after shutting the door.... And the red tell tale light was on for the heated rear screen! even though the ign key was in my hand!

So i opened the door again and the interior light came on normal brightness and the heated rear screen tell tale was out, tried it again and same thing??? As soon as i close the drivers door the same thing happened again! But if i lock the car with the remote the interior light behaves as normal??

How wierd!!!!!

Anybody else experienced this or could anyone shed any light on it??

i have a fault that my rear heated windscreen light comes on randomly... not sussed that one yet, but, i'll re-wire it as soon as i get time.

No idea about the interior though... seems like there is a short somewhere, but, only a small one cus it sounds like it's not going much voltage to illuminate it properly.

I had some weird problems a while ago and it was all cured by a multi function unit for a tenner.

the disco interior light stays on dimly briefly after locking car it is normal or mine has been fualty the ten years ive had it

Well when i lock mine, the light usually stays on bright for a few seconds then dimms off to nothing.....

You must also have a fault, because all you have to do is shut the door locking isn't required.
