I have just bought a Heratige 110 on eblag, unfortunately unseen. I did ask the seller a couple of time to view but got no response. I am hoping to see it tomorrow night to check it over.

I have had a td5 discovery in the past and was plagued by the dreaded 3 amigos. I have a 1984 defender which has been an ongoing project for the last couple of years so I am aware of where they are prone to rust etc.

Does anyone know if the defender had the same 3 amigo issue?

Is there anything else I need to look out for on a 2000 my model heratige 110 TD5?

Main things to look out for are rust on the chassis and bulkhead, then the normal stuff like checking transmission, levels etc.
