Wellcome, I would check the fuel filter and lift pump for proper operation,
Also I would ask the questions you have on the specific forum for your Land Rover,
If you run a gravity feed diesel supply direct to your pump it will eliminate possible faults with the fuel tank pickup/Fuel filter/Lift pump, also confirm your return line is clear and free flowing,
