Hi all a little bit of a strange one but I have an ex Weston power 110 that has lots of buttons and controls that I have no idea what they do. When they sell off the landy's most of it is disconnected and hidden behind the fuse boxes.

It has hydraulic outputs, Ramsey winch, built in inverter with 240 and 110 outputs, and lots of other odds and sods.

Under the drivers seat there is a grey box wired into the ecu that says Mmannesmann Kienzle vdo vk1000 I have no idea what its for goggling it brings everything up from tracking to control units.

There is a control box above the drivers seat with + - and arrows up and down again no idea what its for. I have also found a stray sensor tucked up behind the wing that looks very much like a pressure sensor with a pressure/ vacuum pipe that goes to another control box located under the passengers seat this may lead to the hydraulic control valve but it is so packed int here it is hard to tell.

I will get pics up in a little while trying to put everything back to work order and re commission everything but there is sooo many wires discounted and unknown switches I cannot start until I know what does what then I can start bit by bit working it all out. The only thing that works at the moment is the winch and the hot water basin in the rear.

Some advice would be very much appreciated.

Given the description of the truck and the connection to the ECU I suspect what you have there is an electronic hand throttle. As you said, google was not your friend with that much information but also given the truck had a hydraulic pump and connections fitted to it tthe electronic hand throttle would have been there to hold the truck at an elevated RPM for use as a power supply (much like the old PTO hand throttles)..

I see that would make sense as I did wonder how you where to use the external controls on the bonnet to use the hydraulics without someone in the cab. It is booked in to a hydraulic specialist to go over the hydraulics for me as there is a leak and the pump plays up on heavy load will see if he knows how to work it.
