it was running ok, maf due to be replaced so there was already a lack of power. today replaced crank case filter and fuel rail which improved acceleration buton reaching 30/40mph engine starts coughing and spluterin

Has the fuel filter been changed since 2001 ?? Maybe the amount of fuel getting through not enough when reaching higher speeds ??
