I just purchased some new injectors for an '89 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0
I-6 engine.

I installed them and now the truck is not running right, at all. It
feels like a cylinder or 2 is missing. There is a heavy fuel smell from
the exhaust, as though it is not lighting. I know the plugs and wires
were working, until I replaced the Injectors. The injectors have power,
and all test fine for conductivity.

Anyhow, it runs awful, any ideas?

Any chance you cross-wired a couple of adjacent injectors when you
plugged them back in? Quick check: pull the plug wires from the
cylinders one at a time. If you find one or more that only make a
small difference - or no difference - in how it runs. Repeat the
check by unplugging the injectors for the cylinders that don't seem to
make that much difference then swap injector connections with the
adajcent injectors and see what happens.
