AKA Mr cool...
Since fitting a new fuel tank on my defender 90 ..Ive a problem with fuel draining back into the tank..checked sender unit, feed pipe and return pipe all ok..no wetness round fittings..Ive also checked the fuel pipe from tank to pump..all seem ok...lift pump bleeds air out of system ok..not sure if the lift pump is on its way out..if its left for a while some times it starts straight up..some other times it takes 15-20 secs to start up..this problem has been bugging in me for the last few weeks..desperatly need some advice..started up 1st time every time before new tank was fitted..thanks
