Gearbox & Transfer box
Has anyone heard of this guy on ebay? Item number 260093233948 or the link below?

I'm in the middle of France and have just had a catastrophic gearbox breakdown. As the transfer box was leaking a little before the disaster I thought I'd get a recon version of both.

Ashcroft seems to be "the" place to go and I'm planning a trip back to blighty to do an exchange asap. Landyltd on ebay is very tempting - as ever, the price is right.

If anyone has any advice/recommendations I'd appreciate it.

We're in the Auvergne, region 63...

Many thanks for the reply, (ies) but we've now gone for the "Ashcroft" option in the hope that a "good" gearbox will see us through a few more years. If all else fails we'll buy a renault/citroen/ peugeot or whatever else french peice of ****e, and live with it
