My Volvo is refusing to start, Think the battery is dead.

I know it's not a landy, But would anyone who's near Studley be prepared to come give me a jump???

Not had battery issues before.

There are no lights at all on the car, can't turn anything on.

Well, Hopefully now this'll justify a Fender as another car as a jump vehicle :doh:

That's good. Cos I was thinking he was in Studley near Trowbrige, Wilts.

Ooo I dunno then.. when I googled studley thats what it gave me. I rest my case.

It was Studley, Warks

I had a Disco come and give me a helping hand.

Took ages though, So battery is proper dead. I think once the car got enough juice to power the computers / restart them it was ok.

Got to work fine, Good 40 min run, Then stopped it all day, came back tonight and it's dead.

Used a work van to juice her up tonight and now i'm home.

Guess it's new battery time...

Sounds like a screwed cell on the battery to my uneducated eye!

Yep, or a failed diode pack on the alternator.

Twas the battery.

Car's developed more faults, So it's going back to the dealers.

Wish i could afford to get a Defender at the moment >_<
