Thinking of replacing/upgrading the headlights on my 1992 defender 90, looking for something a little more waterproof for when off roading and a little brighter would be good anyone recommend any?

Get some regular 7" halogen units, and then put H4 Osram Nightbreaker plus's in them, wouldnt say their mega waterproof (nothing about a defender is ) but they put out an awesome amount of light, a pair of nighbreakers are about £15 on ebay, better than those cheap HID crap you can buy

Looks like a good choice, deal done £15 posted for the bulbs, cheers for that they look the biz and will go well with my Daylighters

Might try and get some of them rubber shrouds that slip over the back of the bulbs, might keep some of the water out when wading.

I use Wipac Halogen Crystals headlight up grades, amazing difference!
