After sliding into the curb in the recent bad weather i now have to replace my steering rods. I'm looking at getting sumo bars for it. Only question is are there any downsides to fitting them? If you replace them with a HD item does it mean something else will bend or break instead.

They still bend, Ive even made them out of en24 and above for offroad boys.
That said the track rod end fails next so if its a road vehicle Id rather stay standard and kink a arm ,but still be able to drive home
