Sorry to keep bugging everyone with this one but I'm at my wits end!
I've just put a brandnew cylinder head on my 1996 300tdi and it just won't start.
I've checked and re checked the following....

Fuel lines for air (it's been bled and i even loosened the injector unions to check diesel was getting to them)
Valve clearances all ok
stop solenoid (removed barrel to double check)
heater plugs


it turns ok and initialy it sounds like it might catc but nothing!
The timing was untouched when I fitted the head so i'm doubtful that thats it..

is there some 'widget' that needs re setting that i've missed or some cut of trip that I've over looked?

have you removed the little dust plugs they put in the injector holes on new heads? sound silly but i have seen pro mechanics forget them
