Trying to remove my hand brake drum and the bolts that hold the prob to it are just spining inside the drum so i take it my only option is to grind them off then remove the drum then fit new bolts for the prop??

Unless there is a trick to this that i dont know

The heads of the bolts have rounded off, looks like the grinders coming out.

they split with chisel easily along the length of a flat

or mint be easier to buy a set of irwins they get rounded nuts strait out

the nuts ent rounded its the head of the bolt end that is sliping that should lock against the flange

hehe but it is the easiest way and more effective than most imagine,as an apprentice we had to split tractor wheel nuts as practise

If its possible, try grinding two flats either end and use a smaller matching spanner to undo them, worth a try?

I had this , assuming they have started coming off then started spinning rather than just spinning from the start p.

Pry bar between the drive shaft and the box - spreadem - simultaneously spin the bolt - it should drop back into its grooves and start to free off.
