IMG_20190419_142031.jpg as the title states, jag engined 4.4 with lpg.
Don't know much more about it yet except the following don't work.

Key fobs
Sunroof
Aircon
Horn is on a lashed in button(some people are idiots!)
Apart from that, just driven home in stop start traffic 35 miles, no major issues.
Filthy inside but everything appears to be there and working.
Wish me luck, and I'll no doubt be peppering the forum with questions!

Centuries ago repentant people used to beat themselves & wear hair shirts, these days they buy late model LR products because the pain is everlasting :rolleyes:
 
Gearbox oil..

Does the LPG system have a Flashlube system fitted?

The Jag engines Valves h8 LPG as it burns hotter, the valves suffer..

Best engine of the bunch though ;)

And do the Gearbox oil. ;)

Yep, gearbox oil on the list. Not sure about flashlube and wouldn't know how to check! That said, it's been on lpg for the last 11 years and still running so hopefully will last me 2 years or so.
 
Flashlube is usually a small bottle filled with an oil that is feed into the intake mainfold via vacuum pressure to lightly oil the valve edges to keep them cool and prevent seat regression.

Flashlube is a must on the Jag AJV8 running on gas.
 
Nice car, lovely engine. I'll keep an eye out for you down Canal Street trying to pay the parts bill off.

It seems fairly good so far. Filthy inside and bodywork isn't great but acceptable
Few niggles to sort out but waiting for the diagnostics before I tackle anything major.
