is there any body out there that can help me.......... i am moving to greece and i am taking my 110 defender with me but i am having trouble getting greek plates,any help or ideas gratefully received.

You can drive on brit plates there for up to (i think) 6 months, during which time go to the embassy on Ploutarchou (just up from McDonalds on Syntagma square, opposite the zoo) and they will advise you the forms you need to fill out and the procedure to get hellenic registration.

...although most greeks don't bother and put english plates on their cars so the authorities think they are stoppid brits and htey get away with things!
