I need to work my way round my discovery soon to grease up the thousands of greasing points. I've got some high melting point graphite grease, is this the right type to be using on all the greasing points? There is also a housing on the left side front of the engine bay with a grease nipple on top, is this to do with steering? And should I fill it with the same stuff? Haven't done any greasing before so im unsure!

Also I've got a grind when changing down into 2nd and 4th gear. Someone told me there's an adjustment ontop of the gearbox to stop this from happening or was he talking out of his anus?

Thanks chaps

theres only a few grease nipples on props unless sealed joints are fitted ,nipple on steering box is a bleed screw for steering not grease niple ,its possible someones fitted greaseable track rod ends but they arent std ,high melting point grease isnt essential any std lithium based grease is fine

Excuse my lack of knowledge if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be more likely to be an adjustment if it was grinding in both 2nd and 4th?
