Does anybody know where I can purchase an 'up to date' map (CD) for my Freelander 2 navigation system. It's a bit antiquated but it does work but with a lot of road alterations sometimes gets itself confused. (that makes 2 of us ):- )

My guess refer to the land rover supplier for the GPS update. Most relevant software for navigation are Garmin, O/S or TomTom. Travel signal update came via FM radio transmitter.

Thanks. I just went to my local LR Dealer, they looked at me as if I was talking swahili and referred me to their new car showroom.

Was it a Spotty Herbert with the smell of acne cream polluting the air🤔 or a EV Evoque salesman. Might be worth contacting land rover plc by steam power email. Land rover more likely buy in stock media kit from reputable brands for prestige vehicles. As I mentioned earlier Garmin and ilk might own the rites to the equipment or the software. Land rover stick a label and fixture saying we own it. Find a nearest pigeon owner to send a request to Land rover PLC for information on updates.

JLR now have a 2 or 3 year subscription for this system, if not renewed then owners can download their choice such as Google, Garmin etc (download at a cost of course) after deleating the existing, So something similar maybe available, if available for a Freelander 2 I don't know. Perhaps your owners handbook or the dash screen menus will help.

GPS has nothing to do with the engine so may be better off in the Freelander Forum.
