hi all i joined up a while ago when i had an offroad 300tdi disco, but had to get rid as was rotten so i have been out today and got my self a 200tdi disco as been told they are a bit better then the 300tdi's

here she is:

she has pro-comp heavy duty springs and shocks pro-comp steering damper and has been poly bushed through out!

i have a lot of plans for her so shall keep you all updated!!!!

underneath is great, there one small bit on inner arch under bonnet and small bit behind front of driver and passenger doors, other then that she is in really good nick!

she has 11 months mot on her aswell

my plans are:

sell wheels and tyres to get steels with offroad tyres on

modify bull bars etc

tint windows

snorkel

and many other mods

 

thought it was mine!

lol compared to my 300tdi i had this one is a lot more characteristic and you dont see many 200tdi's about anymore!

has a few niggles that need sorting including when i put the heater blowers on i get a burning smell and she starts smoking from down near where radio goes but when blowers not on it dont do it.

 

thought it was mine!

Sounds like the switch is burning out. or the motor?? mine had completely fried the speed selector switch.

shall check it out mate cheers, i got a funny feeling it the motor burning out as it has power going to it but the motor prob seized and burning itself out.

shall see when take it apart haha

went and had a bbq down beach today with a load of mates, had a play on the sand dunes and everyone decided to decorate the old girl!

the blower on mine has stopped working... still get some heat out the heater though, only time i can see it being a big problem is when ice is forming on the windscreen...

the only time heat comes out of mine is when i am going more then 25mph with heater settings on hot! i aint touched the fan control switch since smoked that time i shall wait till end of summer and get a new fan motor for it (thats if thats whats failed???)
