Don't tell you'r mum where you put the keys. Some muthers are well dodgy these days
Alternatively, lock your mum in the landy for the weekend as a theft deterrant
Just remember to leave the window open a few mill to let some air in, and leave a large bowl of water

sometimes i find it necessary to lock the wife in the car.for some peace and quiet.
problem with leaving the window open in the summer is you get bugs flying in and setting off the alarm.

Just a few sensible precautions, ignore these other advices. Firstly remove the wheels and leave it on bricks, remove the battery, engine, gearbox and both front and rear transmissions. Dismantle the interior and lock all the parts in various lock-ups throughout the County. Finally, lay some land mines round the perimeter of the shell. I think with these small precautions you will be able to relax on your vacation. Have a nice one.
