anywhere there are 3 bigish suppliers britpart ,bearmach and allmakes ,britpart been the biggest ,they all sell genuine ,oe,and branded and pattern,all retailers use them

Can someone please explain OE, branded and pattern? I do understand pattern but OE and branded, whats the difference? Ta.

branded well known name not necessarily used by landrover ie borg and beck used to be genuine now not, valeo is genuine part but a lot of people think bb are better than valeo,oe original equipment ie timken but not bought through lr

probably depends what you are want to buy as far as to what part. Bearings timkin.fuel injection bosch just depends on the part

timken is timken where ever you buy it but some bits can be harder to be sure of ,a few years ago buying british co injector nozzles was guarrentee of quality but then some where made abroad and quality wasnt much different than pattern,genuine and oe is usually best except where you know different ,pattern does tend to be poor not just from britpart as big retailers online are in price competetion and so press wholesalers who buy cheaper and quality suffers, i was talking to britpart rep the other day about it ,to get good best price parts you need to talk to retailers like famous four amongst others who know what parts are good or poor and cab advise you,they will sell best bits from all the different suppliers ie timken bearings from britpart and another bit from bearmach,
