Has anybody got suggestions how to seperate the bellhousing and to know for sure that there are 8 nuts & 4 bolts that hold it on and no hidden extras?
I havn't taken the starter off and don't think it needs to be? i might be wrong!
Im nearly getting to the stage of increasing the size of the hammer and will end up cracking the casing!
Help greatly appreciated......

starter doesnt need to come off there is a nut hard to see just above bulge for slave cylinder ,normally i use vehicle jack sat on panhard rod to support engine on front of sump, enabling gear box to be lifted enough to put pressure on then pull side ways etc on hand brake drum to break hold

Many thanks. some dipstick didn't find the nut right at the top untill he lowered the box at extreme angle to find it!
Got the bloody thing apart, never seen a release bearing in so many bits, even split the clutch fork and obliterated the mounts!

use some bits of M8 studding to help slide her back together when you are reassembling-don't forget those little slipper feet in the excitement, and hopefully heavy duty fork

Will do, thanks for advise, getting late now so will get back on it tomorrow early before the sun comes round and fries the parts of me hanging out the side of the disco!!
