OK, so I'm not a high mileage user.
I get the garage to grease both props and change the engine oil and filters every MoT time and the gearbox, transfer box and diffs every other MoT.
One problem with doing your own oil changes is getting rid of the old oil; not impossible, but not that easy either.

Local council waste disposal site. (Mine's less than a mile from the house) I have a 25 litre drum into which I pour all my old oil from changing oil on our small fleet then empty it into council tank when full, which it is now and I must remember to empty!
Simple if a little messy maintenance jobs, I have saved literally thousands of pounds doing it the DIY way over the years.
