Hi all, Just joined and looking for some advice please...

My manual gearbox is knackered and i need to replace it. i have been offered a R380 from a TDI but im told the gearbox is different for a V8.... is that the case and where is the difference?
Any recommendations for the source of a good replacement box (and transfer box).
