hi all, after managing to get the disco started the other day I went to put it into drive and was able to shift all the way down to 1. I then moved it forward about an inch, put my foot on the brake and went to shift back into park. The gear selector would not move at all. I couldn’t just leave the engine running and so rather foolishly I turned the engine off.

At this point I realised that I had blown a rear brake light. I changed the bulb and checked the number 2 fuse. But no dice.

Now the inhibitor is preventing me from even starting the engine I’m kind of boned and all out of ideas.

Anyone got any suggestions on wtf to do next?!
