Would some kind soul please give me the part numbers for the above as changing gear has now become very similar to my old camper van i.e. stirring a rice pudding

whats wrong with the old ones ,its only the plate that breaks

The springs can loose their "springy ness", did on my old D2.

ive rarely found that but ftc4123 and ftc4124 or da1253 if you want a kit

I too thought it was weak springs as the plate looked fine, but once I removed it it had a hairline crack that allowed it to move, don't forget to give the linkages etc a good lube whilst its in bits, mines like a new car now

Completed this job yesterday with the help of my neighbour, hardest part was getting the springs into position but even that wasn't too tricky. The upright part of the plate was cracked along the bend. The springs looked ok but I changed them anyway. Parts came to £10.79 so a cheap fix for a change
