Seeking sensible (optimistic I know on here) opinions here guys n gals.

My Mrs has been running a Shogun Pinin for around 5 years now. It has been generally reliable but has required some welding for it's last 2 MOTs and is getting a little tatty so she fancies something newer (on a W/2000 plate)/lower mileage (its none nearly 100k)/not silver truck.

My choice would be another Mitsubishi but she likes the idea of a Freelander soooo . . . .

Can you get the newer Rav4 on your budget?

Had this question from a customer today, pointed her towards a slitty, a grand for a gaylander is fine if your'e willing to shop round and take advice but she's one of these 'cheap, cheaper cheapest types who'd willingly spend 500 five times than a grand once...

She don't like ravs. Budget is probably a couple of grand.
