Went to Slindon 4x4 yesterday and had a total riot! Got stuck, drowned the carpets, soaked my feet but loved it!

Here is me stuck!

Onto the disaster....
Almost home, less than 2 miles to go an odd knocking noise developed from the rear. It lasted about 10 seconds and then stopped, I shrugged and carried on. Two minuets later the arse end drops and out of a shower of sparks I see my rear wheel trying to race me home!

These are a couple of photies after the wheel was back on. Luckly the disc was ok as the guard behind it took the brunt!

Lesson lernt...Check your wheel nuts before leaving! + get some green arrow thingies! Any ideas on a repair would be cool to! :D

Abuse away!!

Could've been a disaster, but it wasn't. It illustrates a good point. This happened to my dad some years back and I've been careful since!

Mad hat man i said SHOPS, not tinternet, but yeh - i guess ill just pop into the local tyre shops and have a gander, just wondered if anyone knew of any chains that sold em ;) thanks guys!

Try your local commercial dealers.
You must have a Volvo truck, DAF, Scania or Mercedes commercial close by.
