The only fuel flap door spring I can see is BPD700010
You might have to use the superseded part number: ALR8882

Thanks I saw that but because Craddocks rarely bother to include a photo, or in this case even a description, I wasn't sure if it was the right bit. Is that definitely the spring bit?
Mine currently has a modification to keep the flap shut I can only think Britpart have made - blue tack.

The problem is there is no spring and no clip. It opens fine, and stays closed via blue tac
I should think the clip has broke and they just took the spring off
I ordered this from Craddock's last night, then got this email this morning!!

I told them to stick it.
It's a bit of a price increase!! Looking at that part number it's the whole fuel flap
still can..... another supplier

Yeah apparently it springs the door open? Mines a 53 reg, not sure when they stopped using the springs
