My freelander broke down today, "called the man who can" Green Flag and they couldnt! so they took it off to the garage 30 miles away (£50 per hr) he rang me to say the fuel switch needed re-setting? thats all... SO, where is it, what is it, and why should it do this popping up? only had it for a week, so not appy at all, the garage want to replace it, but as i said popping up is caused. what do you all think?
Ta! Gray......

The fuel cut off thingy is on the right hand side of the bulkhead (or somewhere near) theres a rubber button that you push to reset it

dead easy when you know where it is So off you go and have a rummage about. ;)

Its intended to shut the fuel off in the event of an impact , dunno how much force you need to make it shut the fuel off !

Oh and Welcome !:D

Am attaching a pic of the cut off. First time I've done this so hope it works?

Thanks for you reply.
When it arrives home I will go and play, But I didnt hit nothing to make it pop!
And thanx for the welcome, I used to be a series III owner and lightweight back in the early 80s, so its nice to own a Landy again, even if it is a girly car (my son said)
