Hi everyone

My wife's 08 Freelander 2 TD4 has the fuel flap stuck closed, I have checked the fuse which is okay but the flap refuses to open. The vehicle has been parked at the airport for 7 days, no signs of it being forced open, would there be a connection or just a coincidence? Anyone suffered anything similar with any idea of rectification.

Hi the actuator can stick - new fuel filler bowl with actuator is about £20 from a dealer and about 15 minutes to fit.

Software needs updating to prevent the actuator burning out
