Quick one, the mounts on the chassis that act as damper and spring mounts on my Disco are awful, ones even got a small hole in it! I have seen them advertised for sale that you weld onto the chassis, thing I want to know is how much of a job is this and is it reccomended? The cars getting rebuilt at some point but not for a while so new chassis tight now is not an option. I'll probably be getting it welded by a mechanic due to safety aspects surrounding a shock absorber escaping on the M6! Would it be strong enough if done properly still? Daft question maybe
