It may turn out that the main loom has been damaged near the under bonnet fuse box...

There may a bluish coating to the wires some of which may have been eaten all the way through, we had some on the screenwash pumps and headlights ...

RAVE is what i'm looking at and as i said the feed for all the 3 roof lamps is common( one wire) from the fusebox untill that header i attached, there it splits to the 3 lamps, so what you say it's wrong cos then no lamp would work... that's why i asked about that in the first place, if you see what i mean... believe me, when it comes about electrics i'm rarely wrong(...though it happens... but not now )
