Need some help I need to replace a front hub swivel oil seal on my disco mk1 1995 with ABS,is it possible to remove the hub and half shaft all together if the brake caliper is removed and the bolts on the axle are removed?
Yes the whole swivel shaft assembly can be removed that way, make sure you have a good quality 12 sided spanner or small socket for the axle bolts (13mm)and do not forget to undo track rod ends first.
