My P38 doesn't have front fog lights, can the factory fitted set be retrofitted? Do you need to cut into the front valance and is the wiring for the switch already in-place?
Think so.Have you been under the front to see if theres any availble wires to connect them up?Think the physical mounting is quiet easy. That said havent done it me self

Yes they can be fitted. How easy the setup is depends on whether you have a high line BeCM or not. Get underneath the car, look upwards and look for two white connectors each side of the vehicle attached to the front sort of frame thing, if they are there you most likely have a high line BeCM. To double check though, pop off the fuse cover inside the vehicle and look at the label on top of the fuse holder enclosure. If there is a H on it you def have a high line BeCM and all that will be required is the fog light switch and the fog lights themselves.
If you have a low line BeCM you will need the wiring harness + switch to add them.
You cant fit them to an AUTO diesel P38 because the cooler for the gearbox is in the way, that is to say, the hole for the light on the passenger side is just a grill to let air through which then cools the ATF in the rad.
There are various ways around this, the only true way around it I feel would be to move the rad to a different location. I havent done anything with mine yet as it stands but Ive been looking into ways of doing it.
