Hi. I am planning to fit discovery2 front discs to an Alvis. I need to know the internal dimension of the disc to see if it will fit my hubs, any help please? Also centre hole diameter.

The only dimensions I can find for the D2 front discs is the external diameter of 297.2mm +/-0.2mm and a nominal thickness of 25mm +/- 0.1mm.
Before you invest too much in your project, I would advise that you get hold of a scrap brake disc to see if the rest of the Alvis front rolling gear will accept it.
The wheel stud pattern could give you a bit of a headache too.
The Alvis pcd is 5x5", I intend to drill the discovery2 disc to match. New discs are not that expensive, however some dimensions from someone who has one would be useful before purchase.

That's why I said get a single scrap disc from a breaker's yard. It's got to be cheaper to do all your measuring and trial and error working out on a scrap unit than to start on new discs until you know exactly what and how you're going to do.
New discs would be very expensive if you try to modify them and then find you have to sling the set of new discs away 'cos it didn't work.
